The Bubble, a feature and literary magazine, is published quarterly by Nancy Gross. It began as The Ojai Bubble, and is now floating beyond Ojai's borders into more places in Ventura County and Santa Barbara County. The magazine has several original journalistic features in each issue, as well as creative writing, including poetry and narratives or short stories.

There have been one to five poems in each volume. Poets who have been featured include: Robert Peake, Paul Fericano, Carol DeCanio, akka b., Josh Evans, John Dillon, Jeff Kustal and Nancy Gross.

There is no specific guideline for submitting except submi to either:

theojaibubble@yahoo.com, or
P.O. Box 171,

Please, keep in mind, we cannot publish everything we receive. The issues are themed and probable themes for the next 12 months are:
  • Wind and Water,
  • Relationships,
  • Youth and Age, plus
  • The British Invasion.
Not necessarily in that order. The website, www.theojaibubble.com, tells where the magazine may be purchased.
